CCS22 budget and sponsorships allows us to cover a small number of grants, offered to eligible undergraduate and graduate students that plan to present their work at the conference but cannot afford the full costs. At this point these grants mainly consist on a fee waiver (additional funding to partially cover travel expenses might be available exceptionally).
- You must be a full-time student author in an undergraduate, or graduate program, who will present your accepted contribution (talk or
poster) at the conference
- You must have submitted your abstract by the deadline.
- Postdoctoral researchers (who have completed their PhD, ScD, or MD program) are unfortunately NOT eligible at this point.
If you are eligible to apply for the grant, and you have received your official abstract acceptance notification email, you should send us an email (Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. Necesita tener JavaScript habilitado para poder verlo.) requesting the grant, along with a short paragraph explaining the motivation and importance of attending CCS2022, and a reference letter from your supervisor or department head making a case for the necessity of such grant and whether this will enable the applicant to come to the conference.
CCS2022 will assess all applications received before the early bird registration deadline: July 23, 2022
Evaluation criteria will include economic constraints of the applicant and the overall benefit of the grant assignation for both the applicant and the conference.
